In response to the dual crises their consumers are facing: COVID-19 and systemic racism, brand My Black is Beautiful launched the social consciousness campaign, #HowWe, a study on how to inform and empower Black women to fight, survive, win, and cope during most uncertain times. The campaign leverages influencers in areas from medicine to political activism in ongoing conversations and provides actionable resources. I provided a strategic and definitive tone of voice for MBIB to represent the #HowWe campaign and for use in future brand executions.
